Our Logo is there to show once again the historical symbols which represent the spirit of our Association.
On the right part you can see a palm tree on a sand background recalling that the Association was founded in Algeria in 1952.
The blue band symbolizes the Mediterranean, crossed in 1957 to come to Lus la Croix Haute...
The left part shows a tree representing the forests of Lus La Croix Haute and in the background the grass of the fields surrounding the camp.
Lastly, all around the logo you can see children holding hands representing the group values. In the corners the children are in contact with adults, to guide the children in the respect of the values of the Association Saint Augustin.

The Saint-Augustin association, established in Lus la Croix Haute since 1957, was founded in 1952 in Algeria by the Canon Edouard Lauro. Its work was perpetuated by Jean Lauro. Association law 1901, it is recognized by the departmental services of the ministry for youth and the sports and is adherent with L’AFOCAL (Association for the Leisure and Management training of Animation). It is approved for summer and snow camps.
The association has various structures:
• The Castle, which accomodates all the camps. It is an old manor of hunting next to a pine forest of 8 ha. Located near the center of the village of Lus, it is arranged to receive 112 children in an environment and a comfort of most cordial. Several game rooms and activity areas are laid out in the park around the central building: the barn and its théatre, the launching pad to the arc, the farm, the "bicycles" center , the costume room, the course "road prevention", the reception room "E LAURO", etc...
• Daroulède is for Multisport stays. Daroulède is a large country cottage made up of small independent rooms and luxurious sanitary facilities. Its sunny terrasse makes it possible to take all the meals outside while enjoying both the landscape and the climate. The country cottage is located in full nature at the exit of the village of Lus, in front of the public swimming pool and the minigolf of the association, while offering a superb and impregnable sight on our mountains: The Pale one, Chamousset, Jarjatte, etc....
• The Kasbah is the cottage where all the staff can rest. It is entirely restored and is located right by the Castle.
• Bueyras is a private ground of adventures at the exit of the village and next to the river the "Buech". Installations were created there in order to be able to camp with all the conveniences necessary.
Association Centre de Vacance Saint-Augustin, benefits from the experience of 50 years, with 80 voluntary active members. By their associative spirit and their engagement they ensure Saint-Augustin the vocation to make available to all the families the magic universe of summer camps.
